Buying a wakeboard tips?
Okay so I just bought a new hyperlite murray on sale, and now I need to know what boots and bindings I should get
So do I have to get the hyperlite murray boots and binding because I got the hyperlite murray board?
If I don't, which ones would you suggest?
-Open toe boots?
-Or close toe boots?
What's the difference between the two?
So I'm no pro at wakeboarding, but I do know that bindings are interchangable. You can get whatever you want, they all fit in with thumbscrews. You should see what you like best, try some that your friends have or go to the store and put your foot in them. I have used both open toes and closed toes, I like the open toes better because there is more space to move my feet and the water doesn't stay in there all the time. You should make sure that whatever bindings you buy serve you as a rider. If you are trying to throw backflips you should make sure you have tough bindings that will keep you in. Since you got a sweet board you probably want to get some good bindings. Hyperlites are nice. Try checking out these sites (two of the top watersports retailers)
